
Oakville, ON – Blue Devils Announce Powerhouse Female Tech Staff for 2024
Blue Devils FC today announced their female Head Coach positions for the 2024 League 1 Ontario season. The club will be competing in all three League 1 female divisions and are very excited to introduce their lead technical staff, that will be guiding the program into a new and challenging season ahead. The club is very proud to introduce 3 of the most experienced and qualified women within Canada.
League 1 Head Coach – Carli Tingstad.
Carli will return for her second season as L1W Head Coach. She had a very strong 2023 season and finished with the most points of all the teams that will compete in the new Championship Division in 2024. Carli is also the Head Coach of Brock University and a former assistant coach at the University of British Columbia. She has the certification level of UEFA ‘A’ License, A Masters degree for high performance sports coaching, together with a Bachelors for Physical education and coaching. Carli brings strong leadership skills to our project and will be focused on winning our first Championship in 2024.
League 2 Head Coach – Melissa Bigg.
Graduating from the University of Cincinnati where she played NCAA D1, Melissa entered the coaching world as head coach of Tiffin University NCAA D2. She is currently an assistant coach at MacMaster University and has L1W coaching experience with Hamilton United. She holds a Canadian National ‘B’ License and is currently a National ‘A’ license candidate. She is also a member of the U16 Provincial Xcel program. Melissa joins the Blue Devils technical staff with outstanding credentials and experience. She will begin her squad building next week with a series of open tryouts (details posted at www.Bluedevils.ca )
League 1 Women Reserves Head Coach – Natalie Bukovec.
A former semi professional player and member of the Croatian National team program, Natalie completes our senior technical staff. She is a former Blue Devils League 1 head coach and currently also hosts the position of Head Coach at the University of Metropolitan Toronto (former Ryerson). She also holds a Canadian ‘B’ License and along with Melissa, is a current National ‘A’ License candidate. Natalie too works within the Ontario Provincial projects and she is also working towards her Masters in coaching and sports performance. She is a high performance role model for all our aspiring young female prospects. (Reserve team tryout information at www.bluedevils.ca )
